In Torre del Greco around 12 o'clock this morning in 3^ traversa Montedoro the carabinieri of the local company together with the local forest rangers intervened for a woman who slipped into a ravine.
The soldiers went down the ravine and assisted the woman, a 36-year-old with mental problems, until the arrival of the firefighters' helicopter and the Alpine rescue team. It was impossible to go back up on foot.
From an initial reconstruction it seems that yesterday the 36-year-old had left the psychiatric ward of the “Maresca” hospital in Torre del Greco where she was hospitalized.
