A supermarket clerk, followed while riding her bike to work in Cornaredo, in the province of Milan, was attacked and raped in the parking lot.
The alleged perpetrator has now been arrested by the Milan Carabinieri , who reported the incident today. The incident occurred on January 4th, when the young woman, a 28-year-old working the first, dawn shift, cycled to work around 5:00 a.m.

However, his car was captured on camera and so the Carabinieri of Cornaredo tracked him down on the street in Rho on the following 9th January, while he was driving that same car, without a licence and drunk.
At home they also found a piece of clothing, a white sweatshirt, that the victim remembered. On February 4, the man was arrested on a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of Milan.
