On Saturday the officers of the Police Station Pompei, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Pompeii.
During the operations, 75 people were identified, 21 of whom had previous police records, and 40 vehicles were checked.
Also on Saturday, the officers of the Torre Annunziata Police Station, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department and the Canine Units of the General Prevention Office, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Torre Annunziata.
During the operation, 67 people were identified, 39 of whom had a police record, and 49 vehicles were checked, one of which was subjected to administrative seizure; furthermore, a violation of the Highway Code for driving without a protective helmet was contested and a vehicle registration document was withdrawn.
Finally, the operators administratively sanctioned a person for possession of a narcotic substance for personal use because he was found in possession of approximately 12,35 grams of hashish.
