The Carabinieri of the local company's mobile radio section together with their colleagues from the Arzano branch - alerted by 112 - intervened late yesterday evening in via Brindisi at number 39 for a report of gunshots. 2 fired blank cartridges caliber 8 were found and seized.
Not far away, on Via Cagliari, the military identified 13 local boys (12 of them are minors between 13 and 17 years old). The minors were entrusted to their respective parents. On that very street the carabinieri found and seized another 15 blank cartridges fired of the same caliber and a switchblade.
Investigations underway by the Carabinieri Casoria to identify those responsible. It is likely that the youths were challenging each other to target shooting or were "testing" the weapons. The military is also trying to establish where the guns and bullets were purchased.
