In the messages written to Giulia Tramontano after killing her, with the aim – according to investigators – of misleading the investigations into her disappearance, Alessandro Impagnatiello complained of having the “journalists who are harassing me outside my house.

I beg you - he begged the woman who died four days earlier – it’s unlivable like this.” It was at midnight on Saturday, a few hours after killing her, that Impagnatiello began sending messages to his victim's account.

The next morning he writes to her from work, recommending her to rest. And in front of her silence, now dead: “Hey, are you still in bed?”. And so it goes throughout the day on Sunday, when the missing person report is filed. The messages continue in the following days, as the desperate search for the 29-year-old continues.

“I know I haven’t been the ideal boyfriend these past few months. I’ve disrespected you. You who were the first and only girl to welcome my son.”, writes Impagnatiello, already the father of a child from a previous relationship.

“You made my heart explode. I didn’t mean to break your ego instead. I didn’t want your eyes to no longer shine when we were together. You’re perfectly right, but I just want to ask you one favor: just tell us that you’re okay.”, the words he addresses to the woman he killed two days earlier.

 Alessandro to Giulia: “What kind of mother are you if you want us to separate?”

 “But really, before even giving birth to a child, you already want to divide us? You want to give birth to two parents who are already separated? What kind of mother are you!!! Are you even asking yourself that?”. On May 25th Alessandro Impagnatiello wrote this to Giulia Tramontano, his girlfriend who was seven months pregnant and who he killed two days later.

That day, the two, as can be seen from the WhatsApp messages in the investigation, are arguing. She repeats that she is not "happy" and that their relationship was over. “Accept my decision and let’s end this. I don’t want any more arguments, frustrations, anxiety and constant anger, leave me alone.”

On the morning of May 31, after having left – according to the confession made the following night – Giulia's body in a cavity, Alessandro wrote to her again, affectionately calling her “Tata”.

And after complaining about the journalists under his house, “It’s day four today, stop this and just do something, I beg you.” It is the last message, a few hours later Impagnatiello, faced with the now clear evidence gathered against him by the investigators, will confess to the murder, causing the body of the 29 year old pregnant woman to be found.

Impagnatiello is in a cell for prisoners at risk

 Alessandro Imagnatiello, the barman locked up in San Vittore prison for two days for killing Giulia Tramontano, his seven-months pregnant girlfriend, is in a cell for so-called at-risk inmates in the fifth ward.

The man who has repeatedly said since he was arrested that "the only repentance that makes sense is to take my own life" is in fact monitored more carefully than the others. From what we know, he also has no contact with other prisoners. His conditions are compatible with the prison regime.

With an imaginary letter written to her mother Giulia by Thiago, Chiara Tramontano, the sister of the twenty-nine-year-old killed seven months pregnant by her boyfriend Alessandro Impagnatiello, returned to an Instagram story to talk about the murder and the accusations against the barman, which include the unauthorized termination of pregnancy.

“I wasn’t a pregnancy, mommy, I was a person. I had arms, legs, a head and a heart.” “He killed me. He killed us both!” “He’s a monster, heartless. He killed us, mommy Giulia, without mercy.” 

“In January 2023, my sister told me that Alessandro had confided in her that he was having another romantic relationship with another girl and that, because of this situation, she was thinking of having an abortion as she was pregnant with Alessandro”.
