Strabioli, Borghetti, Croce, Rinaldi, Esposito, Masiello at the 'Serious Game of Theatre' review.
The ancient seminary of Salerno will be the original location of the new edition of the review “Il gioco serio del Teatro” under the artistic direction of Antonello De Rosa. The cultural kermesse will start on Friday, July 14 and will accompany its audience towards multiple theatrical proposals until Sunday, July 22.
Intense programming will see protagonists, in addition to the student actors of the renowned Scena Teatro academy in the first three days, also illustrious names of the Italian acting and musical scene. “The serious game of theater, breathe theater 2023” strongly desired by the director Antonello De Rosa is a real cry of invitation to the return of the true theatrical experience, understood and made by the professionals who live and inhabit the theater. Theater and music together under the stars of Salerno in the cultural salon of the city, the Diocesan Museum which, through the Salerno Opera Foundation, has welcomed De Rosa's cultural proposal for the fourth consecutive year.
“My thought– says De Rosa- it cannot fail to go to two people who contributed to the birth of this review in this place, I am talking about Don Luigi Aversa who did not hesitate for a moment to open, together with his excellency Bishop Bellandi, the doors of this wonderful treasure chest to the theater, the second person is the dear friend and former councilor for youth policies and innovation of the Municipality of Salerno, Mariarita Giordano who has always been by our side as a friend and as an institution. With her in 2019 we thought of a tribute to the maestro Andrea Camilleri, in this review a show in honor of Camilleri will debut, naturally I will dedicate this show to Mariarita. I did not want to exaggerate with the shows, also because the resources are small, but I concentrated this review in just 8 events to give the opportunity to experience the Theater intensely without interruption.”
Big names will accompany this season, the return of the well-known face of RAI, the host and actor Pino Strabioli, the voice actor and actor of fiction and cinema Giorgio Borghetti, the very famous actress Nadia Rinaldi and the queen of the Italian stage Elena Croce, but also the intense actors and singers Lalla Esposito and Massimo Masiello, Rino Di Martino of the Teatro Bellini of Naples, Margherita Rago and Antonella Valitutti. Also lots of music between the arches of the cloister, Romolo Bianco ambassador of Neapolitan music in the world, the maestro Antonio Ottaviano and the trio Simona Sciacca, Alessandro Chimienti, Mauro Menegazzi who from the stage of the very famous theater of Taormina will sing Sicily under the stars of Salerno. Nunzia Schiavone will present the evenings.

Friday 21 July Scena Teatro Management presents Pino Strabioli in “CIAO ANDREA” with the musical trio: Simona Sciacca vocals, Alessandro Chimenti guitar and Mauro Menegazzi on the accordion;
Saturday 22 July Scena Teatro Management presents Giorgio Borghetti in “NOVECENTO” with the music and voice of Romolo Bianco, ambassador of Neapolitan music in the world.
