The real summer is coming, the hot one: it certainly won't be like last year or two years ago but the African anticyclone will appear on Italy from Tuesday, especially in the Central South.
In the first days of the week, both Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be variable and unstable in the North and in part of Central Italy with new rains and local thunderstorms. In the South and on the Islands the situation will be calmer with mostly sunny and warm weather like in full summer but without excesses.
Subsequently, from Wednesday, the North African anticyclone will gradually consolidate in the Center-South, guaranteeing mostly stable and sunny weather but also with increasing heat especially in our two major islands where temperatures will return above 35 degrees with peaks, in the second part of the week, even close to 40.
The northern regions, on the other hand, will see unstable and rainy weather conditions for a few more days, probably until Thursday, because they will be involved in a humid western flow active over central Europe; consequently, in the North the heat will remain contained with summer temperatures close to seasonal averages.
