The Taverna Est Teatro theatre company, founded by director and playwright Sara Sole Notarbartolo, inaugurates a new line of shows dedicated to the meeting between cultural tourism, theatre and the history of the city.
Engaging and entertaining, the shows written and directed by director Sara Sole Notarbartolo, are created with actors and musicians of great and recognized talent. A journey into the imagination that intertwines with the ancient and powerful history of a city always balanced between legend and reality. Words and music, irreverent characters, memories and mysteries.
AMULETS are objects considered bearers of protection, luck and magic, a symbol of connection with the past, of defense from negative events, in the constant search for prosperity and happiness. The name of the AMULETI project was born from the desire to leave a precious memory in the Neapolitan public and in the tourists who visit the city and the region, so that the memory itself becomes a form of protection and happiness.
The protagonists are historical actors and musicians of the company supported by new artists, who interpret the more and less known stories of characters who have influenced the history of Naples with their lives: from Gesualdo Da Venosa to Lucrezia D'Alagno passing through Ferdinando di Borbone, Lucia d'Amore, Giacomo Leopardi, the Ciulla della Pignasecca, up to a phantom false son of Ria Rosa and Enrico Caruso.
On stage: Fabio Rossi, Gennaro Monti, Ivan Virgulto, Antonella Esposito, Chiara De Martino, Cinzia Musella, Gennaro Falconetti, Bruno Toro, Teodoro Delfino in theatre, storytelling and music shows.
AMULETI is realized with the support of the Municipality of Naples and with the support of some Neapolitan entrepreneurs, in love with tradition, art and the territory. Among the main sponsors we find Januarius - The miracle of good taste, a prized innovator of the Neapolitan culinary tradition, the Caffè Arabo, a historic place of exchange, meetings and cultural embraces between Naples and the Middle East and the historic perfumery Pepino, which will accompany the project with the launch of "Acqua Classica di Napoli" a very precious fragrance dedicated to the city.

The show is a small carillon, funny, evocative, moving. DONNA LUCREZIA tale and song of a secret queen
With Antonella Esposito
Musician and narrator Gennaro Monti
Text and direction by Sara Sole Notarbartolo
Donna Lucrezia D'Alagno was the favorite of King Alfonso of Aragon. Her effigy is in the bas-relief that stands out on the portal of the Maschio Angioino in which she is portrayed in the act of a dance. She remained, it seems, devoted to her king while waiting to be married and in the meantime she supported him in the government of the city. But on the day she understood that the marriage would never happen she took a courageous, carnally liberating decision.
6 SEPTEMBER AT 21
JONNY RAGUSO musical show on the story of the fake secret son of Ria Rosa and Enrico Caruso
With Ivan Virgulto and Teodoro Delfino
Text and direction by Sara Sole Notarbartolo
At the beginning of the 900th century, relations between Naples and the city of New York were very close: incredibly, and in fact it is not true, a fleeting love was born between two great artists in a foreign land and a son gifted, by artistic heritage, with the greatest Italian-American voice that has ever appeared on the face of the earth: Jonny Raguso.
