Meret: 6. THEUdinese he makes himself seen in his area, but the shots all come from long distance and in most cases they don't hit the target. With the result in hand and the game under control, there are a few more dangers: confident on the way out, he touches and almost saves on Samardzic's goal too.
By Lorenzo: 6,5. In the first half, a series of effective closures in the coverage phase that favour the Azzurri defence, which only allows conclusions from outside the area.
As usual, he also provides his contribution up front, making himself seen a lot on the wing, on active balls and, when necessary, also with insertions into the area.
Ostigard: 6,5. Calm and confident, few mistakes. As usual, he exploits his physicality and his skill in the air.
The only inattention was his but also that of the department: Samardzic did very well to escape from five men, including himself, and then beat Meret with a shot in the area.
Nathan: 7. Another convincing performance: in the first minutes a couple of sliding tackles that immediately earned Maradona applause. Then, during the match, other clean interventions and very few opportunities granted to the opponents.
In the final he was fooled and attempted a desperate and useless slide tackle on Samardzic.
Mario Rui: 6. A somewhat anonymous match on the surface, but one that involved great sacrifice in covering the Udinese wingers, first Ebosele and then Ivan Ferreira. In attack, there was also an interesting idea: close to scoring on a precise pass from Kvaratskhelia, the ball then went wide.
Anguissa: 6,5. Glimpses of the old (and true) Frank Zambo: fine play and physical force in the center circle, with many tackles won.
Accurate in his passes, he only misses 3 out of 60, and in his ground play he is clean and elegant. He is growing (from 83' Raspadori: sv).
Lobotka: 6,5. Across the board: precision and composure in the balls handled, a lot of sacrifice also in the coverage phase as he had done well in the Bologna match.
He also comes close to providing an assist: a nice pass for the turn of osimhen which then grazes the post with its right foot from inside the area.
Zielinski: 7. The first shot is his: perfect control in the area to elude Bijol's marking and a shot just over the bar. The appointment with the goal is only postponed until later, when he puts in a perfect penalty just wide of the post, despite all the responsibilities and the weight of the moment (from 71' Cajuste: sv).
Politano: 7,5. Total match: cross after cross to find his teammates and above all the delicious assist for Osimhen's return to goal.
He manages to get involved in practically all of his team's offensive actions, confirming the great start to the season and the good feelings shown so far (from the 62nd minute Lindstrom: 6,5).
osimhen: 7,5. The most anticipated man, the most discussed. After 16′ he would have the opportunity to take the penalty, but he yields it to Zielinski.
The goal then comes from action, even better: central insertion with the right timing, he doesn't tremble one-on-one with Silvestri. He would have also deserved a brace: beautiful long shot at the beginning of the second half, the ball that grazes the post (from 62' Simeon: 7).
