Tomorrow and the day after, the national "I Don't Risk - Best Civil Protection Practices" days return to Campania . To learn how each of us can protect ourselves from risks such as earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, volcanic activity, and forest fires, information booths have been set up in 97 squares across the region's five provinces.
Saturday and Sunday will also be an opportunity to talk about the Campi Flegrei in three squares in Pozzuoli (at the Sandro Pertini seafront, in Piazza della Repubblica and in Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie): on Sunday morning, the Head of the Regional Civil Protection, Italo Giulivo and the Mayor of Pozzuoli Luigi Manzoni will also be present at the information gazebos. The two-day event, which will close the National Civil Protection Week, will bring thousands of civil protection volunteers to animate the information points to spread that culture of prevention through which everyone can make a difference in their own safety and that of those around them.
Io non rischio is a public communication campaign on good civil protection practices based on the synergy between science, volunteering and institutions, which is aimed at everyone, with clear and recognizable messages, to transform awareness into action, 365 days a year. Io non rischio is promoted by the Department of Civil Protection with Anpas (National Association of Public Assistance), Ingv (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology), Reluis (Network of University Laboratories of Seismic Engineering), Fondazione Cima (International Center for Environmental Monitoring), Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and ANCI, National Association of Italian Municipalities.
