Tomorrow, Friday 13 October at 17:00, Sovversivə begins in Naples at the Chiostro di San Domenico Maggiore – the festival that celebrates the multiple gender identities born from the idea of the students of Prime Minister Napoli that will end on Sunday 15 October at 13:00 at the Riot. There are two main themes around which the festival revolves: bodies and language identified as key elements in the process of self-representation, which will be discussed in an unconventional way, but with a critical spirit and outside of socially pre-established norms.
The only festival in the South that will pass through different places in the historic center of Naples, starting from the Cloister of San Domenico Maggiore to the Galleria Principe and ending at the Riot and Spazio Tra, offering free talks with experts in the topics covered (anthropologists, sexologists, teachers, journalists, artists) and workshops where participants will have the opportunity to get involved by bringing their own point of view and experience in the planned training activities. Among our speakers we will have Marina Cuollo, writer and editorialist, Francesca Cavallo, Giulia Paganelli, anthropologist and writer.
The festival is in collaboration with APS Miq-Movimentiamo il Quartiere, Riot Studio, Spazio Tra, A'Mbasciata, Lazzarelle Bistrot, Link Napoli, I'm Queer any problem?, Le Kassandre.
