E’ sempre Napoli una delle mete più ambite in Italia anche per il ponte di All Saints 2023: è quanto emerge dall’analisi del Centro Studi di Confesercenti Campania.
Even if there is, compared to 2022, a small decrease in the average occupancy percentage of rooms in accommodation facilities, 79% for Naples and 65% in the entire region are certainly good numbers. Among the main causes are the uncertain weather and the mid-week cadence of November XNUMXst.
“One year ago this holiday – says and comments Vincenzo Schiavo, president of Confesercenti Campania and National Vice President with responsibility for the South – It fell on a Monday and produced a great long weekend with significant revenue.
The data collected by the Confesercenti Study Center are, therefore, very interesting: for today and tomorrow, November 8st, in Campania in the 1200 thousand accommodation facilities (6800 hotel businesses, 65 non-hotel ones) the average occupancy reaches 98.800% with 5.187.000 tourists expected, for a total revenue of 45. Considering the average per capita expenditure of 8.9 euros by visitors (between shopping, catering and services) the induced will reach 14 million euros, for a total of over XNUMX million euros of revenue for this Bridge.
Naples plays the leading role once again, with an average occupancy rate of 79% for the 5700 accommodation facilities (700 hotels, 5000 non-hotels) for a total of 78.200 guests. Even in terms of takings, the Campania capital reaches almost 80% of the entire region's revenue, reaching 11.1 million euros in total (between the 4.1 million turnover for accommodation facilities and over 7 million for related activities).
“Naples continues to be the driving city of tourism in our region, the one that has the greatest attractions for foreign and Italian tourists – clarifies President Schiavo – and tourism operators, while aware of the challenges encountered during this period, remain optimistic about the future and underline that Campania retains its unique appeal with its culture, extraordinary cuisine and historical and natural riches.
In this sense we are already seeing a boom in bookings for the upcoming holidays, with a 75% fill rate, to date, for the Immaculate Conception long weekend, with December 8th falling on a Friday, and a boom also announced for Christmas and New Year's Eve",
