Two small earthquakes between last night and dawn today at Campi Flegrei.

The first occurred at 5,01 am and had a magnitude of 1.4 at a depth of 5 kilometers, the second at 6,40 am, with a magnitude of 1.2 at a depth of 4 kilometers.

None of the two shock was felt by the population. Yesterday instead only one shock of magnitude 1.0 at 17.07.

This morning almost all schools in Pozzuoli reopen. As communicated by the mayor, Gigi Manzoni: “Educational activities will remain suspended exclusively in the Diano Complex on Via Solfatara of IC 1 Marconi Diano, to allow the administrative offices and the presidency to be moved to another location, and to review the entry/exit routes of students.

Educational activities remain suspended, also, in the private schools that have not produced a certification attesting to the static suitability and the absence of conditions of uninhabitability of the buildings".

I don't really understand why schools have to be closed even if the earthquakes were not felt. Maybe it would have been better to leave all schools open, at least because students need to go to school every day.

It is interesting to know that there were two earthquakes but the population did not notice. But the mayor did well to close the schools for safety even if there was no damage.

Really strange that people don't feel anything, but good that almost all schools are reopened, let's hope that the situation remains calm and without further problems in the future.
