Intervention by the Municipal Police of Castellammare di Stabia against illegal trading in the heart of the city: in via Denza, in the very centre of the city, the officers of the Administrative Police-Trade Section, under the command of the commander Colonel Francesco Del Gaudio and coordinated by Lieutenant Donato Palmieri, stopped an illegal sales activity on public land.
A man, GA, born in 1971, already known to the police, got into trouble when he was caught selling fruit and vegetables without any administrative authorization. During the operation, the officers proceeded to seize the goods, which were found to be without the necessary documentation according to the current regulations on trade.
Having noted that the food was well preserved, the Command immediately activated a solidarity channel, contacting the Caritas Diocesana di Castellammare di Stabia. Thanks to the collaboration with the Municipal Technical Office, the seized fruit and vegetables were donated to the charity, thus avoiding waste and offering concrete help to the most vulnerable segments of the population.
