Article Key Points
An explosive start
Saturday opens at 18.00:XNUMX PM at Sala Assoli-Moscato with 'MAKE KIN(K) – on the radical tenderness of ropes', an interactive performance curated by Temporary Blooming Zone and conceived by Yele Canali Ferrari and Ale Festa. This work invites the audience to explore the connection between the personal and the political, involving the spectators in a sound installation made of ropes and earth. With a shibari session that intertwines the bodies of the performers and spectators, the experience becomes a collaborative soundscape, inspired by the Radical Tenderness Manifesto by Dani D'Emilia and Daniel B. Coleman.
A powerful rewrite
At 20.30:XNUMX pm, the festival continues at the Teatro Nuovo with 'KASSANDRA', a powerful rewriting of the myth by playwright Sergio Blanco. Roberta Lidia De Stefano plays Kassandra, an urban poet in search of survival on the margins of a declining city. Directed by Maria Vittoria Bellingeri, the work alternates dialogues with the audience and musical performances, creating an atmosphere of intense reflection on truth, marginality and the path to recognition. 'KASSANDRA' proposes itself as a representation of resistance, exploring dynamics of power and visibility that go beyond mere mythological narration.
A community finale
On Sunday, April 6, the Quartiere Intelligente will host a day dedicated to culture and socializing. The program will start at lunchtime with a picnic in the garden, followed by banquets and outdoor activities. The afternoon will be dedicated to literature with the presentation of the book 'Gender is over' by Isa Borrelli, in dialogue with Carmine Ferrara, sociologist and researcher. Poetry will have its space at 19.00:10,00 pm with 'Tempi Poetici', a slam poetry that will see the voices of Moni Attanasio, Francesca Boemia and Lucrezia Pirani on stage, accompanied by the sounds of Lud. The evening will end with a musical selection. With the cost of tickets set at 5,00 euros for the shows and XNUMX euros for the screenings, the Napoli Queer Festival continues to propose performances that question the present and imagine new horizons of inclusiveness and liberation, keeping the memory of diversity alive. Tickets are available online, at authorized retailers, and at the Sala Assoli-Moscato and Teatro Nuovo box offices, where you can also purchase a suspended ticket to donate.

Napoli Queer Festival is an interesting event but I don't know if I agree with some of the performances, sometimes they seem too provocative. I hope it really leads to reflection, but there are also doubts.
