UniNa Corse, the University's racing team Napoli Federico II, è pronta a festeggiare i successi raggiunti nell’ultima stagione di Formula Student, competizione mondiale di prototipi universitari a combustione ed elettrici, a guida autonoma e non.
Al fine di celebrare i risultati raggiunti durante la stagione passata, data anche la risonanza internazionale già ottenuta, l’associazione avrà la possibilità di organizzare un evento sul lungomare di Napoli, on October 21 and 22.The guys from UniNa Corse are, in fact, Champions in Italy for the driverless category, having obtained 1st place in the Italian stage of Formula ATA in Varano de'Melegari (PR). The association has also obtained excellent results in international competitions in the Czech Republic, in Most, and in Germany, in Hockenheim, reaching the heights of Formula Student.
We will be allowed to use the Rotonda Diaz area, where interactive and informative stands will be set up to allow the curious to touch some of the car's components, simulate driving our single-seater and win themed gadgets from the association. We will also have the opportunity to speed along our single-seater, Gaiola, on the seafront, made completely safe, carrying out acceleration and drift tests.
The event, open to the public, will be attended by prominent figures, including the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, the rector of theFederico II University, Matteo Lorito, and the president of the association, Prof. Luigi Nele. It will be the perfect opportunity to show the public a successful reality, carried forward by the passion of young graduates of Federico II capable of outclassing a heated and aggressive international competition, accompanied by the companies that have chosen to believe in the project.
