Seventy-five tickets for the Serie A football match played on 30 September at the 'Ettore Giardiniero' municipal stadium in Lecce, between the Giallorossi and the Napoli they were purchased on a dedicated platform by residents in the region Campania, by means of a false declaration, that is, by indicating a place of residence different from the actual one. The purchases concerned various sectors of the stadium, with the exception of those reserved for guests.
The agents of the Digos of the Police Headquarters of the Salento city discovered it during checks on the lists of Tickets carried out to verify compliance with the decisions of the National Observatory on sporting events and the related measures adopted by the Prefect of Lecce. Several violations emerged in this way.
Of the 75 tickets reported, 4 were issued for non-existent personal details and 4 were registered to minors. These violations were reported to the Unione Sportiva Lecce which immediately proceeded to cancel the indicated tickets.
Agents of the Administrative Police Division of the Lecce Police Headquarters have issued 71 reports of administrative offences for violation of the “Regulations for the use of the Ettore Giardiniere Municipal Stadium Sports Facility in via del Mare – Lecce”The penalty for offenders is the payment of a fine of 166,67 euros.
