The sports judge of the Serie A, after the seventh day's matches, imposed a 25 thousand euro fine on Napoli “to have his supporters, during the race” on the Lecce pitch, “threw five smoke bombs and numerous plastic bottles into the sector occupied by supporters of the opposing team.”
“Causing minor injury to an opposing fan; also for having, during the match, thrown a small glass bottle into the playing enclosure”. Napoli also pays for the “vulgar chant of territorial origin towards the supporters of the opposing team” chanted twice by the fans. Lecce was instead fined 15 thousand euros for throwing objects and firecrackers.
Fines also for Lazio (8.000 euros) and for the Salernitana (2.000). Only one player was sent off, Sandi Lovric of Udinese, who will miss a matchday of the championship due to a direct red card.
