After the musical triumphs of the evenings with Francesco Tricarico and Francesco Baccini, the “SottoScale” review of Radio Zar Zak is preparing to surprise the public with a literary event not to be missed. Tuesday 8 April, at 21 pm, the evocative theatre of the Casapulla musical workshop, founded by Maurizio Zarzaca, will host Luigi Lo Cascio, exceptional interpreter of the latest novel by Donato Cutolo, “Flor” (Edizioni Spartaco).
Article Key Points
An all-round artist
Donato Cutolo, a writer from Caserta, has always been able to combine music with his writing, creating short films and theatrical performances. Today he seems to be reaching the pinnacle with his multidisciplinary project, a cultural innovation that Cutolo has been bringing around since 2009, the year of the publication of his debut novel “Carillon”. He has had the honor of collaborating with prestigious names such as Paolo Rossi and Fabrizio Bosso, making his performances true events of attraction.
A unique evening
The evening of April 8 promises to capture the hearts and ears of the audience, with Lo Cascio accompanied by Marco Sica, violinist of Guappecartò, and Fabio Tommasone, jazz pianist. Maurizio Zarzaca anticipated that it will be about “instruments that become atmosphere”, creating an immersive journey through literature, music, cinema and theatre. The winter festival of Radio Zar Zak will continue to propose quality events until May, bringing the world of culture to Casapulla.
Gastronomic excellence
There will also be a corner of food and wine excellence, managed by “Amico Bio Arena Spartacus”, a restaurant located in the suggestive Amphitheatre of Santa Maria Capua Vetere. The fusion of knowledge and flavour promises to be the icing on the cake of this multidisciplinary evening. The “SottoScale” programme also includes other interesting events, such as the meeting with Stephen King’s ‘protégé’, Michael McDermott, on 13 April, and the country and soul fusions of The Delines, on 17 May. A calendar full of events not to be missed for lovers of culture in all its forms.
