In the tragic accident on Halloween night, 26-year-old Bennardo Pagano also lost his life. The young man was originally from Naples but lived and worked in Milan.
The driver of the Golf who caused the first accident is a 25-year-old resident of Cinisello Balsamo who has never obtained a driving license, has several criminal records, and tested positive for alcohol.
Bennardo Pagano had shared on social media a shot of the Halloween night at the disco before the accident.
Around 5 in the morning, on Viale Forlanini in Milan, there was an accident involving three cars and twelve people. A 26-year-old boy and a 24-year-old boy died, who was transported in serious conditions to the hospital and later died.
According to initial information, the Peugeot was driven by a 26-year-old man who was traveling with 5 other people in the car: according to signs on the road, the car was traveling on the outermost lane of the carriageway in the direction of Linate when it hit the blue Opel, stopped on the road after being hit from behind by a Golf that was probably traveling at high speed.
On board the Opel there was a family, composed of a father, a mother and an 8-year-old girl: after the collision, they all got out, before the car was hit by the Peugeot, and thus they were saved.
