Last evening, the officers of the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station, as part of services specifically arranged for this purpose, while passing through via San Cosmo Fuori Porta Nolana, noticed a person who, at the sight of them, attempted to move away to evade the control.
For this reason, the police reached him and stopped him, finding him in possession of two packages with approximately 10 grams of hashish and 1135 euros.
Since there was good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts being investigated, the operators carried out a check at his home where they found 5 sachets and two jars containing a total of approximately 76 grams of marijuana, two sachets with approximately 42 grams of hashish, a precision scale, a knife and various materials for packaging the drug.
Therefore, the 25-year-old, with a specific police record, was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
