The Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata investigative unit executed an arrest warrant, issued urgently by the Prosecutor's Office (prosecutor Nunzio Fragliasso, deputies Giuliana Moccia and Andreana Ambrosino), against the 31-year-old, a leading member of the Gallo-Limelli-Vangone clan.
The first request for arrest was initially rejected by the investigating judge, but a month ago it was granted by the Review Court. However, the precautionary measure is awaiting the decision of the Supreme Court, set for next January 24.
According to the prosecution, Vangone allegedly fired at least 4 gunshots at Morione during the attack on his fish shop. Investigators claim that Luigi Di Napoli, 43 years old and already in prison since the previous year, is said to have passed the weapon to the 31-year-old.
