Torre Annunziata – They had robbed a street vendor in the city center at night: and after savagely beating him they stole 1700 euros of his takings.
Today, just over a year later, the two bandits were arrested by the police station officers who notified them of an order implementing the precautionary measure of custody in prison issued by the GIP of the Court of Torre Annunziata at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The two are accused in conjunction with each other of the crimes of aggravated robbery, illegal possession and carrying of a firearm and aggravated personal injury.
The investigations underlying the precautionary measure arose from an investigative activity conducted by the Police of State and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, which, following the complaint filed by the injured party, made it possible to ascertain that the suspects, in January of last year, disguised with balaclavas, had committed an armed robbery against the victim, stealing the sum of over 1.700 euros, consisting of the takings from her work as a street vendor, threatening her and violently beating her.
At the time of the incident, the victim described the violent nature and time of the attack to
for the purpose of a robbery, which took place in the middle of the night in a central street of Torre Annunziata, allowing for a meticulous reconstruction of the route taken by the perpetrators of the crimes.
In fact, the investigators recovered various images from public and private cameras that
have been the subject of careful checks and comparisons in terms of methods and times
of the criminal action, means of transport, clothing and distinctive signs of the
responsible for the crimes, which allowed the identification of the probable perpetrators of the robbery.
Following the formal procedures, the arrested were locked up in the prison of
Naples Poggioreale G.Salvia.
