He had been in prison since yesterday when he was reached by a new precautionary order, this time with a more serious charge than the one for which he was arrested the other afternoon.
Roberto Antini, 19 years old, a criminal destiny already marked by a cumbersome kinship. He is the nephew on his mother's side of Antonio Ranieri, known as Polifemo, ruthless and bloodthirsty killer of the Spanish Neighborhoods who in the early nineties organized the split against the brothers Cyrus Mariano e Mark Mariano giving rise to a never-ending Camorra feud.
The other day Roberto Antini robbed a local shopkeeper by smashing a bottle over his head. But he was already facing a series of complaints from his girlfriend and family for stalking and threats.
“To anyone who goes dancing and meets my ex… kidnap her, I’ll give you 500 euros…”, but then “to those who even look at it, be prepared for a hail of bullets”: a violent Roberto Antini in short. This message sent on Instagram after the girl's refusal to go dancing with him proves it.
The charge of aggravated stalking is added to those of robbery and aggravated assault notified to him in recent days, again by the Carabinieri for having smashed a bottle over the head of a shopkeeper he had robbed shortly before.
The death threats were now countless: the girl was forced to ask for help from the police with the anti-violence watch. Threats, moreover, that did not only concern her, but her entire family and even an ex-boyfriend with whom the girl had nothing to do for some time.
The young girl was afraid that her father would be killed or that the house was set on fire and she tried to go to sleep at her friends' house, she no longer went to work; she rarely left the house and only in the company of a few relatives.
“On December 31st your home will no longer exist”
The threats then intensified especially last November, after the complaint, which the girl was forced to integrate: “go and collect the reports… I’ll take all the gasoline and burn your house down… but if December 31st comes, I, on your grandfather’s soul, don’t stay home because you can’t keep this house anymore…”.
