Last evening, the Hawks of the Flying Squad of Napoli, as part of the services set up for this purpose, while passing through Piazzale Tecchio near the “Mostra” -Stadio Maradona” Cumana stop, they noticed a young man who was approached in a suspicious manner by some people and then quickly moved away.
The police officers, suspicious, lay in wait and saw that the subject in question had placed something on a nearby shelter, so they reached him and stopped him, finding him in possession of 8 packages containing hashish with a total weight of approximately 22 grams, 10 sachets with approximately 42 grams of marijuana and 20 euros, while on the shelter they found 2 precision scales and a roll of cellophane.
Furthermore, since there was good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts being investigated, the operators extended the control activity to the suspect's home and in fact the investigative intuition was positively confirmed since they found other material for packaging the drugs, a switchblade soaked in narcotic substance and another 395 euros, divided into banknotes of various denominations.
For these reasons, the defendant, a 19-year-old Neapolitan, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotic substances.
