Open Day at the State Comprehensive Institute “Giampietro-Romano” in Greek's tower: December 18, 20 and 21 will be three days of celebration, fun, play and love; three afternoons in which the families of the students will be able to share the educational proposals of the Institute.
In particular, on December 18 (starting at 16 pm) the nursery school in via Sant'Antonio, 56, will be transformed, as if by magic, into a Santa Claus village with the sections transformed into shops full of busy elves, busy with letters to send, toys to build and tasty sweets to decorate.
For its part, on the 20th (again starting at 16 pm) the Primary School (via Nazionale, 235) will open its doors to children and their families, involving them in lively reading and art workshops, making them dance to the notes of joyful choirs and then accompanying them on a fantastic journey through time through the multidisciplinary laboratory.
The events will close on December 21st (at 16 pm) with the First Grade Secondary School (via A. De Curtis, 7) having chosen a very current theme as the guiding thread of its educational workshops: “Human Beings”.
Yes, because “being human” in a world devastated by wars and calamities, means exalting the creative capacity through the living and real experience of laboratories in which love echoes. Space then for white hands that move freely in the air, scientific experiments, robots programmed by students masters of their destiny.
What is it, after all, that makes man one and only one if not the ability he has to leave something to future generations? ideas, discoveries, testimonies.
This is what counts and this will be shown to families: the power of an idea, the charm of imagination, the power of good. On December 21st, students, teachers and families of Giampietro-Romano will move and operate in close synergy with all the other secondary schools in the city with parades, workshops and buffets because "working together to live together is offering the best to Torre del Greco".
