A 31-year-old Neapolitan, with a criminal record, was arrested by the State Police for illicit possession of narcotics.
The young man was stopped by the police officers of the police station Ponticelli yesterday afternoon, in via Cupa Vicinale Pepe. At the time of the check, the man tried to move away to elude the controls, but was immediately caught and stopped.
The police found in the 31-year-old's possession a block of hashish weighing approximately 100 grams, 3 doses of the same substance weighing approximately 16 grams and 3 other small bags containing marijuana weighing approximately 4,5 grams.
Furthermore, the police extended the control activity to the man's home, where they found another 77 packages of marijuana with a total weight of approximately 110 grams and another 54 bags of hashish with a total weight of approximately 129 grams.
The drugs were seized and the man was arrested and taken to prison.
