The Teatro Cilea in Naples presents the tenth event of the 2023-2024 theater season with the comedy show “Balcony with 3 squares”, performed by Biagio Izzo and written by Mirko Setaro and Francesco Velona, directed by Pino L'Abbate. The comedy of errors also sees Mario Porfito, Carla Ferraro, Roberto Giordano, Adele Vitale and Ciro Paciullo on stage. The plot of the comedy tells of an unusual event that takes place in Naples, on the eve of Christmas, with the protagonist Alfredo dealing with misunderstandings and bizarre situations caused by an unexpected storm. The succession of events involves characters such as Riccardo, the lover of the neighbor, Elis, the young Venezuelan wife of a friend of Alfredo and Ciro, a robber. This series of paradoxical circumstances will lead the characters to experience a Christmas Eve full of twists.
Biagio Izzo, born in Naples in 1962, is a well-known Italian actor, comedian, cabaret artist and television host. After several experiences in television and cinema, he has become a prominent face in the Italian entertainment scene. Currently, he is part of the cast of “Made in Sud” on Rai 2 and is a regular guest on the program “Stasera tutto è Possibile”.
