On the evening of March 8, the Carabinieri of the Company of Casoria They intervened in a house in the city centre due to a family dispute.
A 38-year-old man, clearly drunk, was arguing with his partner, also 38, in front of their 6-year-old son. The man, who appears to consume frequent alcohol abuse and perhaps also drugs, makes the situation unbearable and the woman tries to react.
This triggers yet another outburst of fury from the man – the investigations by the Carabinieri have in fact revealed numerous episodes of mistreatment starting from last August.
The 38-year-old destroys the apartment, screaming and crying, threatening to kill the woman who, taking the child with her, flees by car to her father.
The man, however, reaches her and forcefully asks his partner to get out of the car. Fortunately, the victim refuses and the man, visibly out of control, destroys the car used by the woman with kicks and punches.
It took the intervention of eight carabinieri to stop the 38-year-old, who continued to threaten the victim even in the presence of the police. The man was arrested and transferred to prison, where he will have to answer for the crimes of mistreatment, injuries and resisting a public official.
For the woman, it is the end of a nightmare and now she will have time to find peace and quiet and live her life with her son.
