The commissioner of Napoli, on the proposal of the Montecalvario Police Station, ordered the closure for 30 days of a premises located in the Spanish Neighborhoods, which deals with the administration of food and drinks to the public.
The decision was made following several worrying incidents. First, on March 24, law enforcement detected, through surveillance camera footage, that a customer of the venue fired a gunshot during a trivial argument with another person, leaving the cartridge case on the street. In addition, in the previous months, five people were fined for possession of soft drugs near the venue.
Further incidents occurred between January 2023 and February 2024, with assaults both inside and outside the premises. For example, on 19 February 2023, the owner's husband was shot during a petty argument with a customer, while another person was injured with a knife.
The decision to close the premises for a month was taken to ensure public and citizen safety, avoiding potential dangerous situations.
