Giugliano. The Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Company of Giugliano in Campania they arrested this night Francesco Iacolare, 52 year old already known to the police and believed to be close to organized crime circles.

There was a hanging over Iacolare detention order issued last May 9th by the Attorney General of Naples, which he had evaded. The Carabinieri, thanks to an intense investigative activity that combined traditional and web patrolling, they managed to locate his hiding place.
The military located Iacolare in a small villa on Via Ripuaria, in the hamlet of Varcaturo, where he was in the company of a relative.
At the rear of the house, a makeshift ladder had been set up to climb over the wall and facilitate escape in case of need.
The arrest and the sentence to be served
Iacolare was arrested and transferred to prison, where he will serve a sentence of 5 years and 8 months in prison for criminal association, receiving stolen goods and money laundering.
