But his clumsy attempt failed. It happened last afternoon, the officers of the Police Station Vasto-Arenaccia, during the territory control service, while passing through via Pavia they noticed a subject who, at the sight of them, accelerated his pace to evade the control.
The police, after having promptly reached and checked him, discovered the reason for the attempted escape since the man, a 46-year-old Neapolitan, was subjected to the measure of house arrest for property crimes; therefore, he was stopped and then, after the ritual formalities, taken to prison for the crime of evasion.
