Lawyer Lelio Mancino, candidate in the next European elections for the 5 Star Movement, promotes a revolution to restore dignity to the city of Naples and bring new glory to the Neapolitan Lawyers. His proposal aims to put an end to the usurpation of the temple of football, the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, by merchants, so that it can return to being a symbol of pride for the city.
The European Election Candidate of the 5 Star Movement, interpreter of the desires of all Neapolitan citizens, not just Napoli fans, is committed to regaining control of his own destiny, starting with the transformation of the stadium into a place that reflects decorum and prestige for Naples.
"I am the spokesperson for an innovative idea proposed by a Neapolitan law firm to solve the problem of the renovation of the Maradona Stadium, without giving up the municipal property. This bold initiative involves the creation of a trust through which to start a fundraising campaign on an international scale, involving both private and public investors".
“The inspiration for this proposal comes from recent research conducted by the statistical institute Nielsen, which certifies a Napoli fan base of over 85 million and supporters exceeding 130 million worldwide. These numbers, translated into minimum economic support, could guarantee the resources necessary for the construction of a stadium on par with, if not superior to, the prestigious facilities in Madrid and Barcelona”.
“Furthermore, the creation of the trust would ensure that the funds raised are used exclusively for the renovation of the Maradona Stadium, protecting them from possible actions by creditors of the Municipality of Naples. This structure would allow the Municipality or entities designated by it to maintain ownership and management of the stadium, ensuring transparency and accountability in the management of the funds.”
“The subscriptions would not represent simple financing, but would give the right to a form of remuneration proportional to the amount invested, thus offering an opportunity for involvement and benefits for all supporters of the project”.
