A 23-year-old woman, resident in Vasto, was arrested by the Local Police of Napoli for assault and threats against a taxi driver.
The incident occurred this morning in the taxi parking area in front of the Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi.
According to the reconstruction, the woman began to chase and threaten the taxi driver, a 38-year-old Giugliano in Campania, brandishing a switchblade.
The agents of the Local Police, alerted by some passers-by, intervened promptly and managed to stop the woman with no small difficulty, given her resistance.
The staff of the company also intervened on site Railway Police who, seeing the woman's agitation, took her to his offices for further investigations.
