Rome – The discussion on the revocation of the confiscation of the property has been postponed to June 3rd. The Sonrisa, the famous #CastellodelleCerimonie of Sant'Antonio Abate.
La Court of Appeal of Rome will have to examine the request submitted by the lawyers of the Polese family, owner of the property, to request the cancellation of the provision.
The legal team, composed of lawyersDario Vannetiello, Andrea Castaldo and Veronica Paturzo, filed a request based on seven new pieces of evidence, including two expert reports in urban planning and geology, as well as video shoot.
The aim is to demonstrate that the contested building works they did not involve a transformation of the territory, nor did they cause damage to the environment or the landscape.
The confiscation, which became definitive, had been ordered for the crime of illegal subdivision. However, the defense argues that the trial against the Polese it shouldn't have even started, since the the crime was already time-barred at the time of the request for judgment by the investigators.
In June, in addition to the fate of the confiscation, the request for revocation of the business license, advanced by the defense team against the provision of theMunicipal Administration of Sant'Antonio Abate, which has already started the acquisition of confiscated assets into public property.
