Two stories, one mission
- Marotta & Cafiero, after its relaunch in 2010, has become a cultural reference point in the heart of Scampia, with its bookshop “The Scugnizzeria”, meeting space, workshops and social promotion.
- San Gennaro Editions was born to enhance the culture of the Rione Sanità through publications that tell its history, art and identity, transforming the book into a vehicle for sharing and growth.
Books that build bridges

Projects and new releases
During the presentation event the new necklaces and the re-edition projects of some of Edizioni San Gennaro's successes. To give further impetus to the collaboration, the involvement of La Paranza Cooperative, which will lead the young people of the Rione Sanità to be protagonists of editorial initiatives with a specific objective: to transform the book into a tool for education and inclusion.
Appointment at the Turin Book Fair
The first fruit of this alliance will be previewed at Turin International Book Fair (15-19 May). On that occasion it will be launched “Correspondences”, work of the Dutch writer Gert Hague, dedicated to his experience in the Rione Sanità.
A book, two neighborhoods, an entire city that writes a new page together. Because culture, when it becomes sharing, is the most powerful form of redemption.
