A villa under construction was seized in Agerola, within the Monti Lattari Regional Park, in the province of Naples. The structure, which extends for 350 square meters on two levels and is almost completed, stood in via Paipo on land owned by a 65-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman.
The area is subject to strict landscape restrictions that prohibit the construction of buildings, making the work a clear case of illegal building. The owners of the land have been reported for violating building regulations. The seizure operation was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Agerola station.
The military promptly blocked the work and sealed off the structure, preventing the completion of the illegal building. This intervention underscores the commitment of law enforcement to protecting the region's landscape heritage and combating illegal construction activities that threaten the integrity of the territory.
