Another episode of violence in Napoli. Last night, in a bar on Via Alvino in Vomero, a man was savagely attacked by two individuals while he was drinking coffee at the counter. The incident caused panic in the bar and raised the indignation of the owner and the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
According to the bar owner's account, the two men entered the premises and attacked the victim, brutally beating her for no apparent reason.
The ferocity of the attack caused wounds and blood, creating a climate of terror among those present. The owner's daughter, who was at the cash register, was taken ill by the scene of violence.
The owner of the bar denounced the lack of law enforcement in the area, complaining about the absence of police officers both in the premises and in the surrounding areas. “This is no man's land”, he declared bitterly.
The episode prompted MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, together with municipal councilors of Europa Verde Rino Nasti and Luca Bonetti, to denounce the incident and ask for increased security measures. "It is unacceptable that such violence can occur undisturbed," Borrelli said.
Borrelli and the Europa Verde councilors hope for a rapid capture of those responsible and hope for a concrete commitment from the competent Minister to increase the presence of law enforcement on the territory. The safety of citizens cannot be left to chance.
