The rediscovered sea, the suffocating heat and the first bathers looking for a few hours of relaxation on the coast of Castellammare di Stabia.
This is where the “Arenile pulito” operation begins, a large-scale intervention that covers the entire Stabia coastline, from Marina di Stabia to the municipal villa.
The massive cleanup operation began today, conducted by Velia Ambiente, the company responsible for managing environmental services in Castellammare di Stabia, as part of a series of interventions planned in collaboration with the municipal administration.
The operations began in via De Gasperi, in the area in front of the body of water stormed by bathers in the first hot days of summer.
The cleanup will continue in the coming days
In the coming days, the company will continue along the coast of Via De Gasperi and the Corso Garibaldi seafront area, covering a total of 4 kilometers of beach.
The cleaning operations will be conducted by Velia Ambiente using a basket capable of filtering the sand to separate it from the waste, with the help of other mechanical means equipped with a shovel.
