Naples. – The National Agency for Railway and Road Safety (Ansfisa) has issued the five-year renewal of the authorisation titles for railway safety to the Ente Autonomo Volturno (EAV).
This concerns the Safety Authorization for the interconnected lines (Cancello-Benevento and Santa Maria Capua Vetere-Piedimonte Matese) and the Certificate of Suitability for Operation for the isolated lines (Vesuvian and Flegree).
A constant commitment to safety
“In recent months, the infrastructure manager EAV has worked hard to ensure prompt feedback to Ansfisa aimed at ensuring the renewal of the authorization titles,” the company stated in a statement. The five-year renewal represents the maximum duration foreseen by current legislation and confirms EAV's constant commitment to the safety of its passengers and staff.
Awards and investments
Together with the release of the titles, Ansfisa renewed the qualification of the EAV Safety Management Systems Register (Rsgs), as a testimony to the effectiveness of the safety management system implemented by the company.
EAV emphasizes that the achievement of these objectives has been possible thanks to the teamwork of all employees and collaborators. The company is also engaged in a process of technological renewal, with significant funding from the Campania Region, which will determine the evolution necessary to guarantee ever greater safety and safety culture over time.
