“It was an honour to award the prize at the Press Room of the Room of the Deputies, some Journalists who with their experience, profession and passion have enhanced the printed paper and, above all, our land. Often the South has been mystified by a biased narrative, aimed at labeling us exclusively as a land of crime and scams, stereotypes that probably capture greater media attention.
Fortunately, we have some brave pens that in a free and objective way are contributing to tell a different South, certainly plagued by many shadows but illuminated by millennia of art, history, culture. For this reason, on behalf of the Parliamentary Intergroup "Southern Development, Fragile Areas and Minor Islands", which includes over 50 parliamentarians belonging to all political forces, we have delivered certificates of excellence to professionals of undisputed value", explains the Honorable Alessandro Caramiello, President of the intergroup, who delivered a plaque to the Vice President of the Order of Journalists of Campania Mimmo Falco.
And then to the Director of the Quotidiano del Sud Stefano Regolini, to the Director of NapoliToday, AvellinoToday, SalernoToday, CasertaNews and BeneventoToday Nicola Clemente, to the head of the entertainment editorial team of Il Roma Diego Paura, to the journalist of the Corriere del Mezzogiorno Angelo Agrippa and, soon, to the Director of Il Mattino Roberto Napoletano and to the head of Ansa of Napoli Vincenzo Sinapi. The event, moderated by the Director of CentroSud24 Luca Antonio Pepe, also saw the participation of the famous journalist from Campania Maddalena Monica Mancuso.
