Naples. Last night, officers from the Naples Mobile Squad, during a territorial control operation, arrested two men for aggravated theft, personal injury and resisting a public official.
The officers, on duty in the Duchesca area, noticed two people suspiciously following a couple of tourists.
One of the two men approached the couple and, with a quick gesture, snatched the cell phone from the backpack of one of the tourists.

The Hawks of the Flying Squad, who were observing the scene, intervened promptly to block the two thieves. The criminals, having noticed the presence of the agents, attempted to escape, but after a fight they were immobilized.
Cell phone recovered, officer injured
During the arrest, one of the officers of the Falchi was slightly injured. The two men, both Algerians aged 48 and 31, were found to be illegal in the country. The 31-year-old also had a police record. The stolen mobile phone was recovered and returned to the tourists.
The two men were arrested for aggravated theft, personal injury and resisting a public official. They were taken to the Poggioreale prison awaiting the validation trial.
