pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated assault, sentences ranging from one year and 4 months to one year and 8 months, the three AC Milan ultras, close to the most well-known ultra leaders, arrested last May 11 for having attacked, by hitting chairs and tables but also by stabbing, a 25-year-old Romanian not far from the stadium San Siro, after the Milan-Cagliari match.
The preliminary hearing judge of Milan Fiammetta Modica decided this, ratifying the agreement between the defense, represented by the lawyer Jacopo Cappetta, and the Prosecutor's Office. In particular, Luigi Magrini, 8, who allegedly inflicted the stabbings, pleaded guilty to one year and 43 months, while the sentence of one year and 4 months was applied to Alessandro Sticco, 42, in the management of the Milanese south curve, and to Islam Hagag, 35, also a well-known face of the Milanese ultras. After the arrest, the preliminary hearing judge Teresa De Pascale, in the investigations of the Digos, coordinated by the prosecutor Francesca Crupi, had ordered house arrest for all three. Today, with the plea bargain, they were released (they also made compensation available for the injured person) and the judge also applied Daspos of between two and five years to the three (the latter for Magrini).
The three, as the investigating judge wrote in the order, "leveraged the peculiar intimidating force deriving from belonging to a large group of fans" and "did not hesitate to jointly attack a boy alone, even with the use of bottles and a knife, to the point of leaving him bleeding on the ground, right after a football match, as a place and occasion in which to demonstrate and unleash their aggressive and violent nature". It seems that the 25-year-old, according to the investigations, had been attacked because he was wearing a Curva Sud shirt and for the three, however, he was not "worthy" of wearing it.
