In the Posillipo neighborhood, a 40-year-old woman was reported to the judicial authorities on charges of aggravated theft of electricity and occupation of public property without a title. The discovery occurred during a recovery operation of a municipal property located on Via Posillipo.
The Operational Unit for the Protection of the Heritage of the Local Police Napoli, with the assistance of Enel technical staff, ascertained that the woman was not only occupying the property without authorization, but was also illegally connecting to the public electricity grid to supply herself with energy.
The authorities immediately proceeded to disconnect the illegal connection, restoring legality and interrupting the unauthorized flow of energy. The operation is part of a series of interventions aimed at protecting municipal assets and combating illegal occupation and theft of public resources.
