Naples, checks, seizures and sanctions in the shops of Piazza Garibaldi

Yesterday, the police officers of the police stations Vicar-Mercato, Vasto-Arenaccia, Posillipo, San Carlo-Arena, San Paolo and Vomero, together with the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, with the support of personnel from the Mobile Unit of Napoli, of the ASL Napoli 1 Centro, of the Municipal Police and of ASIA personnel, have carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control in Piazza Garibaldi and in neighboring areas.

During the operation, 100 people were identified, 32 of whom had previous police records and one was reported for evasion, 19 vehicles were checked and 30 violations of the Highway Code were contested.

Finally, the operators checked 8 commercial establishments, issuing 8 administrative fines for a total of approximately 10.000 euros and also seizing 20 kg of food products because they were not traceable.
