Work on safety barriers on the A2 in Salerno resumes
Starting this evening, as communicated by Anas, work will resume on the redevelopment of safety barriers and noise reduction in the municipal area of Salerno.
These interventions are part of the completion of the installation of sound-absorbing panels along the A2 Diramazione Napoli, in a southerly direction, between the Salerno Centro-Porto junction and the Salerno Est-Tangenziale junction.
In detail, from 22pm today until 6am on 20 September 2024, a narrowing of the southbound carriageway will be in effect from km 2,100 to km 0,800.
The works will be suspended in good time to ensure traffic flow during the feast of San Matteo in Salerno.
For traffic heading to Salerno, both light and heavy, we recommend exiting at the Angri Sud junction on the SS268, continuing along the SS268 and joining the A30 towards Salerno. Alternatively, for light traffic heading to Salerno, we recommend exiting at the Cava de' Tirreni or Vietri sul Mare junction.
