Un sole director of a fictitious company based in Campania he was reported by the Carabinieri of Fermo for having simulated the sale of 320 cars, taking advantage of legal benefits and evading taxes and stamp duties for approximately 450.000 euros.
The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri of Fermo, began following checks on some suspicious cars in transit in the area.
At the end of the checks, it emerged that the man, a 40-year-old from Campania, had orchestrated an aggravated and continuous fraud to the detriment of the State, as well as committed ideological falsehood.
The suspect is said to have repeatedly misled public officials at the Civil Motorization Office, who regularly updated the public automobile register on the basis of false documents.
The alleged buying and selling activity, which in reality did not exist, would have allowed him to benefit from tax breaks, thus evading taxes for a total value of 450.000 euros.
Furthermore, following the fictitious registration of the vehicles, 322 administrative fines were imposed for a total of 175.000 euros.
