Qualiano, driving a stolen car: chased and arrested

A Jeep included in the list of stolen vehicles was intercepted by a patrol of the Licola Carabinieri in via Ripuaria, on the outskirts of Qualiano.

The car was traveling 'escorted' by a south whose license plate was on the list of vehicles to be checked. When the drivers of the two vehicles realized that the military patrol was chasing them, they began a reckless escape among the moving cars.

But a few kilometers away, in the municipality of Qualiano, another patrol from the Qualiano barracks intercepted the south and a second chase began, up to via Napoli, in the municipality of Villaricca.

The driver was stopped. In his possession the keys of the stolen Jeep, then recovered and returned to the rightful owner. A second man will also end up in handcuffs, found a few minutes later in his home.

Both will have to answer for receiving stolen goods and resisting a public official.
