Sorrento is preparing to experience another weekend of culture and sustainability with a series of initiatives linked to the environment and the sea, promoted by the Municipality of Sorrento.
Saturday 14 September, at 17.30:XNUMX pm, appointment with the ecological walk “At sunset among the sunsets”, a free event organized in collaboration with Penisola Verde Spa, Peninsula Felix Giovani and thanks to the expert guide of Vincenzo Astarita, hiking guide of Terre Alte di Sorrento.
The route will wind through the suggestive area of the tip of the Cape, offering participants the opportunity to rediscover the historical and naturalistic beauties of Queen Giovanna and the Roman Villa.
The initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable tourism, represents an unmissable opportunity for residents and tourists to reconnect with the natural and historical heritage of the area.
Sunday 15 September will be dedicated to the protection of the sea with the initiative “Paddle, observe and collect”. Starting at 8.30:XNUMX, at the beach of Marina Grande, participants aboard kayaks and SUP canoes will engage in a plastic collection along the stretch of coast up to the Bagni della Regina Giovanna and the Solara.
This day, organized with Penisolaverde, Sorrento Walks and Sorrento Sup as part of the Blue Flag 2024 initiatives, aims to raise awareness among citizens on the need to protect our sea from plastic and pollution.
