Eduardo Scarpetta at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival
The flagship event for science fiction fans in Italy, known as Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, will take place from October 29 to November 3, with the special support of Audible, Amazon's famous audio entertainment platform. Two days of exclusive presentations will be held at the Sci-Fi Dome in Piazza della Borsa, moderated by journalist Beatrice Pagan.
“Echo Effect”: A Gripping Detective Story
The program includes for Saturday, November 2, at 16:00 p.m., the presence of prominent actors such as Filippo Nigro and Fatima Romina Alì, who will present “Eco Effect”. This audio series, characterized by the fusion of the crime and science fiction genres, entertains with a hunt for the serial killer over eight episodes full of tension and mystery. All of this is supported by an enveloping inspired sound design, and an extraordinary soundtrack orchestrated by eighteen musicians.
George Orwell's 1984 Adapted into Audio Series
The following day, Sunday 3 November at 16:00 pm, will see Eduardo Scarpetta and Rosa Diletta Rossi on stage. Both will be busy presenting “1984. An original Audible series based on the work of George Orwell”. This is a new audio version of the famous dystopian novel, with an exceptional cast including Adriano Giannini and Stefano Nazzi. The project is further enriched by an original soundtrack by Matthew Bellamy of Muse and Ilan Eshkeri, recorded with the prestigious London Metropolitan Orchestra in the historic Abbey Road studios.
